About Slabworks

Slabworks started the way most collections do: one grail slab, nowhere good to put it.

Store-bought shelves swallow cards in shadow. Toy-brand cases feel like toys. So we built the thing we wanted to buy. Display cases with the lighting of a museum vitrine, storage that takes fire and theft seriously, and prep tools that treat a raw card like it's already a 10.

Everything we sell is designed around one object: the graded slab. PSA, BGS, CGC. If it's been graded, it fits. If it hasn't been yet, our prep kit gets it there.

We're collectors first. That's why cabinets ship with keys, why the LEDs are warm instead of clinical, and why nothing we make will ever ask you to take the card out of the case.

Tested on our own shelf first.

Nothing gets listed until it has held our own cards for a few weeks. We check that lids actually seal, that foam holds a slab without pinching it, and that a case survives being carried to a show and back. If it fails any of that, it does not go in the catalog.
